BASKET BALL



At MVMI, the popular sport Basket Ball is taught which is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender's hoop while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.




THROW BALL



We teach Throwball to the students, which is an exciting non-contact sport that is played by two teams of seven players on a rectangular court with a net across the middle. The game shares its roots with volleyball and whilst, on the surface, it may look similar, there are some fundamental differences. Like volleyball, it is played on a court that is split into two with a net in the middle but the playing surface of the court is much larger than a regular volleyball court.




KABBADI



Kabaddi will help the children increase their stamina by constantly running after an opponent. Thereby, increasing the player's strength.The game also requires its players to hold their breath and move with speed and accuracy. This increases their endurance level and breathing strength. It also requires the children to be quick on their feet for attack and defense and think faster to come up with strategies in your mind to steal the win, all while holding your breath. This will help them become much faster in terms of their physical and mental abilities even outside because of your quick reflexes which are developed over time.




HOCKEY



The fast pace of the game requires short bursts of energy that help burn a huge number of calories. Each player burns about 0.061 calories per pound, per minute. This amounts to a huge loss of body weight in the long runThe energy and muscular strength required in hockey help in the development of cardiovascular system, which supplies the muscles with oxygen. Pumping of sufficient quantities of oxygen helps to improve the breathing and cellular activity. At MVMI, hockey is taught which is an excellent way of developing the leg muscles, such as the hamstrings, calves and hip flexor muscles. It also aids in developing the endurance of triceps, forearms and shoulder muscles.




FOOT BALL



By teaching football, students have numerous types of advantages, such as increased aerobic and anaerobic fitness, improved fitness skills and even psychosocial benefits. Football also suffices as a form of exercise that meets the Centers for Disease Control and Preventiona€?s minimum recommended exercise recommendations of 150 minutes per week. Abiding by the rules of the game and adhering to the coacha€?s instruction teaches players discipline and emotional temperance. The competitive aspect of the game helps the players learn how to deal with disappointment, develop resilience, practice good sportsmanship and learn how to grow from constructive criticism.




KHO-KHO



Kho Kho is one of the Classic games played for a long time now and it is highly recommended for people to know the history and Legends of the game in order to understand hairstyle on strategy from time to time. The game is played between two teams and it is highly recommended for people to understand the rules of the game in order to enjoy on a regular basis. The game contains two sets of teams with 8 members who are known to take two innings to finish the game with the help of point from time to time. We teach Kho-kho which improves running ability and thinking ability, it helps to burn calories and improves flexibility.




LAWN - TENNIS



Tennis is also a good sport which we teach to maintain health, fitness, strength and agility of the children. It also has social and psychological benefits.
